In 2002, April in Paris
took a walk on the dark side of human nature with crime et cinema,
a festival that explored filmmakers' fascination with desecrating
the laws of society, from the days of silent cinema to today.
Each film in the festival looked at crime from a different lens:
gangland murder, class warfare, the crime of colonialism, teenage
crime sprees and the unspeakable terror of a fantôme who
lurks through the streets of Paris in the night...
