Welcome
Welcome to April in Paris. This festival looks at the difference between love and l'amour fou with nine films from all corners of the Francophone world inspired by the volatile human appetite for obsession, passion, and mad love. Opening with Jean Renoir's masterpiece of silent cinema, Nana, the festival showcases the dazzling varieties of l'amour fou from Bluebeard for his wives (Barbe Bleue), to a father for his daughter (Eyes Without a Face), to a young woman's attraction to two very different men (Claude Chabrol's La Fille Coupée en Deux).
