Welcome to April in Paris, Hartford's 9th Annual French and Francophone Film Festival!

Vivre ensemble: Living Together in French Cinema

April in Paris is the "brainchild" of Professors Sonia Lee and Karen Humphreys of Trinity College's Department of Modern Languages. However, the project would not have been realized without the hard work of Christine McMorris and the dynamism of cinestudio's directors, Peter McMorris and James Hanley. A formidable team!

The intention of this festival is to offer to the Hartford area a new annual cultural event that will celebrate and explore the work of filmmakers working in the French language, be they from France, Canada, Africa or the Caribbean. The festival, which will take place at Cinestudio on the campus of Trinity College, is being presented in conjunction with a special course being taught at Trinity by Professors Lee and Humphreys.
